1. Hot dip galvanized steel pipe structure: Hot dip galvanized pipes react molten metal with iron matrix to produce an alloy layer, thereby combining the matrix and coating. Hot dip galvanized pipes are first acid washed to remove iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe. After acid washing, they are cleaned in an ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or a mixed ammonium chloride and zinc chloride aqueous solution tank, and then sent to the hot-dip plating tank.
Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion, and long service life. The hot-dip galvanized steel pipe substrate undergoes complex physical and chemical reactions with the molten plating solution, forming a corrosion-resistant and tightly structured zinc iron alloy layer. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the steel pipe substrate, so its corrosion resistance is strong.
2. Galvanized strip pipe structure: Galvanized strip pipe has adjusted the production process of hot-dip galvanized pipes. Firstly, the steel strip used for pipe production is acid washed. In order to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel strip, after acid washing, it is cleaned in an ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or a mixed ammonium chloride and zinc chloride aqueous solution tank, and then sent to a hot-dip plating tank. Then air dry and make the tube. It has a uniform and bright coating, with minimal zinc plating, which is lower in cost than producing hot-dip galvanized pipes. Its corrosion resistance is slightly inferior to that of hot-dip galvanized pipes
3. Difference between hot-dip galvanized steel pipe and galvanized strip pipe:
Hot dip galvanized pipe:
1) The color of the hot-dip galvanized pipe is a bit white.
2) Weight: 6.5 kilograms for a length of 6 meters (strong corrosion resistance, long service life, slightly higher price).
Galvanized strip pipe:
1) The color of the galvanized strip pipe is a bit green.
2) Weight: 6 meters long, 5.5 kilograms (strong corrosion resistance, slightly worse service life than hot-dip galvanized steel pipe, low price and economy).
